A light, warm cream — the gentle warmth past the threshold.
Interior softness — a warm-cream calm that follows cool marble.

The tones in this floor
Sampled from the real plank — light boards to dark, as you would lay them. Six tones, not one square.

Original pixels — 3.95 per millimetre. Nothing enlarged, nothing retouched. The rule is printed at the plank’s own scale, so you can measure it yourself.

Move the light — the plank is measured and locked; only the light changes.

Good to know Think twice for a cool, mineral scheme — this ground leans gently warm.
A starting palette · one floor, five companions
Limewash beside warm cream — gentle on gentle. A dark-wood anchor and a black-iron line keep it from floating away.
Menton floor · Limewash white · Cream stone · Dark wood · Black iron
Ochre facades, marble and slate, gardens and loggias, and warm reflected light that makes a cream floor read as the private interior datum after the threshold.
The light
Light here is usually reflected rather than direct: sea bounce, pale stone and warm facades sending warmth deep into rooms. Interiors here feel ambient, soft and matte.
The materials beside it
Ochre and pale lime plaster, Carrara marble, slate, terracotta/genoise notes, iron-oxide accents and garden greens. The palette wants a cream bridge between cool marble and warmer plaster. The floor belongs as that bridge: warm but quiet, luminous but not bleached.
Why this floor belongs
Menton 1018 already sits in a light cream register. In Menton that becomes useful because the floor can mediate between marble coolness and ochre warmth without shouting. It is the private softness that starts after the threshold, which is exactly the architectural feeling the place supports. The note stays subordinate to the real model: engineered, matte and disciplined.
The floor under this world stays the real one: Menton 1018, colour measured from the physical plank — the world is read through the model.

What it includes
A quote is itemised line by line — boards for your area, edge and threshold profiles, and anything else the job needs. Nothing bundled, nothing assumed.
How it arrives
Send the rooms and their approximate area — by form or WhatsApp. A person, not an autoresponder, replies personally with the itemised quote.
Why no public price list
A floor is priced from its specification: the model, the area, the condition of the existing base and the finishing details. A number published before those are known would be a guess — we don’t guess. Asking costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
MENTON 1018 · 43.77° N · 7.50° E
A light, warm cream — half a step warmer than neutral. Past the threshold, where cool marble stops, the floor reads as gentle private warmth, soft under reflected Riviera light.
Neutral is the safe answer. This is neutral with the chill taken out.
Ochre plaster · cool Carrara marble · a grey-slate accent
